Passbow is a special password generator that allows you to generate passwords of different strengths. Passwords are however not generated randomly, but Passbow uses information you provide and generates the password using a special algorithm.
In effect, you can use it to generate unique strong (think lowercase, uppercase, digit and special character) passwords compliant with different systems, websites, applications and accounts while using easy-to-remember pieces of information.
It's mostly about a process: think up your own and use it to generate strong passwords. What's more, you can now use your pet's (girlfriend's, boyfriend's, game console's...) name to generate a strong password for any application, one for each. Add to it some small thing you'll do every time, like capitalizing third letter and adding a dot at the end and you can use it to generate a strong password that is virtually unguessable. (of course, an 8 digit password with a combination of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, digits and special characters won't withstand a brute-force attack, but dictionary attacks are off)
